Twitterers You Should Follow June 5, 2013 – Posted in: Blog

As we approach the halfway mark of 2013, Twitter is closing in on 1.5 billion accounts opened. Many of these accounts are spam. Many are inactive. Many are highly entertaining. Here is a list of some of my favorite Twitter accounts at the moment.

@NeeveMusic

Somehow I stumbled upon her Twitter feed after we watched Les Miserables and were IMDBing members of the cast. She has a couple of YouTube vids – one where she covers My Body is a Cage during a live performance of Frankenstein’s Wedding (which, admittedly, must be a British thing, because, although her cover is very nice, the actual clip of the show doesn’t make any sense to me), and one where she sings I Can’t Make You Love Me. I think she has a wonderful voice and I hope she continues to produce more music.

@alxrbrts

If the subtly awesome mustache wasn’t enough, this tweet is: “Do photographers not get that watermarks completely ruin the photos? I get a subtle logo in the corner but otherwise…stop”.

@DailyDesignLink

As their name suggests, they curate a collection of high quality links showcasing excellent design. What I like most about them, is the variety of materials they link to.

@juretovrljan

An incredibly talented logo designer. You can follow him on Twitter and also check out his work on Dribbble.

@yousaturation

Another source for excellent design resources and inspiration. I really dig the sophisticated design of their site as well as the consistent quality of links they publish. A top notch design website that is truly more deserving than the 263 followers they have as of today. Go show them some love!

@sneakadeal

A site started by my friend @iamjwal, SneakaDeal publishes great deals on cool sneakers. Not only is the feed consistently updated, the selection of sneakers is great. And…considering our kids outgrow their shoes every couple of months I am always in the market for a deal. If you’re a runner who burns through shoes quickly (increasingly true of me) or have kids growing like weeds SneakaDeal can probably help you save some cash on your next shoe purchase.
