Staying on Point

February 6, 2008

I was admittedly a little bummed out about Ron Paul not doing too well last night, but decided that I’m going to continue to support his policies. So I signed up as a Precinct Leader on his website and would encourage anyone who supports him to do so as well. The fact still remains that Dr. Paul is still the most conservative candidate and as Romney and Huckabee likely give way to McCain’s “momentum”, Paul may remain as an intriguing alternative to McCain. On top of that there are still 21 states left to vote.

Okay, I want to talk about Ron Paul for just a bit. Although I’m not sold, I am floundering in my decision.

A friend of mine just made the comment that she’s not a “fatalist,” i.e. she isn’t going to vote for the chosen candidate because any other vote is wasted. She believes she should vote using her head and “let the cards fall where they may” which is her thinly disguised way of saying God has a plan in all of this too…

Okay, that has me thinking. So what is so great about Ron Paul? Where do I start digging?
